An established and highly respected kitchen and home interiors specialist is seeking a motivated and professional Design Coordinator to join their growing team. The business operates across retail, trade, and contract markets, working predominantly with housebuilders and developers, and prides itself on delivering well-planned, tailored solutions for every project.
This role is ideal for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills, and a genuine interest in the KBB industry, who is looking for a long-term career with clear progression opportunities.
As Design Coordinator, you will take responsibility for coordinating projects from design approval through to installation. Working closely with Technical Designers, suppliers, fitters, and clients, you will ensure that all projects run smoothly, on time, and to specification. This is a non-sales role; leads are consistently generated, allowing you to focus on coordination, accuracy, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating kitchens from order to completion
- Supporting Technical Designers by reviewing design briefs, drawings, and specifications
- Updating and maintaining CRM systems
- Ordering products and checking deliveries
- Booking, managing, and coordinating fitters and trades
- Managing emails and acting as a key point of contact for ongoing projects
- Producing and issuing invoices
- Carrying out site surveys when required (all on-site equipment provided)
- Liaising with housebuilders, developers, and trade customers
- Maintaining accurate project schedules and records
- Understanding of kitchen design and interpretation of design briefs
- Ability to conduct site surveys confidently
- Experience using ArtiCAD (beneficial)
- Experience with True Blue or Easy Quote (advantageous)
- Strong IT and CRM system skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle (initially using own vehicle)
- Company plans to provide a company vehicle in the future
- Well-presented and professional at all times
- Based in or able to commute to Stourbridge
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and understand the trade
- Highly committed and reliable
- Organised, proactive, and detail-focused
