KBB Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a forward thinking and well-established company based in Hemel Hempstead, to find a Senior Contract Kitchen Designer. This is a full-time permanent position paying up to £50,000, plus bonus. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
The Role:
- Responsible for producing kitchen and bedroom designs and estimates for developers from client’s own brief and architects’ drawings
- Liaising with developers and the sales team in a professional manner to fully understand clients requirements
- Producing accurate designs and estimates for kitchen and bedroom layouts using Winner CAD software
- Managing and producing designs and quotations within predetermined budgets
- Managing the pre-construction process to ensure all relevant materials are delivered to site
- Working to the developers brief and achieving specified deadlines
- Scaling from Architects drawings supplied by the developer
- Adhering to internal systems and procedures
- Achieving a set volume of drawings required to meet individual performance targets
- Will be managing the team and assisting in building the division
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in designing kitchens
- Experienced in using CAD software (preferably Winner)
- Must be able to estimate and manage large scale projects
- Ability to work/transfer from scaled drawings
- Experienced within the contracts sector including high rise developments
- Must be able to work accurately on own initiative and to tight deadlines
- This role would suit a robust individual who can work well under pressure
- UK driving licence
