Contract Kitchen Designer
Location: Kent
Salary: £30,000
Working Days/Hours: Monday-Friday – 8.00am to 4.00pm
The Opportunity
KBB Recruitment are representing a well-established client looking to appoint a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer. This role involves working closely with housebuilders and developers to deliver functional, stylish kitchen designs.
Responsibilities
- Create kitchen layouts using design software
- Adapt designs based on client feedback
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and architects
- Stay updated on kitchen trends, materials, and finishes
- Recommend products to suit client needs and budgets
- Support the sales team with design proposals and quotations
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar preferred
- Minimum 2 years\’ kitchen design experience
- Proficient in Compusoft Winner, AutoCAD, or similar software
- Strong spatial planning and design skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of building regulations and industry standards
- Full UK driving licence required
