Branch Manager Location: Somerset Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £55,000 + Bonus Hours: 44.5 hours per week | Alternate Saturdays (1 in 2) Overview KBB Recruitment are working with a well-established plumbing and heating business to find an experienced Branch Manager. This is a pivotal role where you’ll take full responsibility for day-to-day branch operations. You will lead and motivate a high-performing team, drive sales, ensure safe and efficient operations, and deliver outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage daily branch operations to meet sales, service, and efficiency targets. * Motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance. * Work alongside the Assistant Branch Manager to plan workflows and manage daily activities. * Drive sales through strong customer relationships, marketing initiatives, and team collaboration. * Ensure revenue, productivity, and customer service targets are consistently achieved. * Oversee staff performance, providing feedback and development support. * Resolve customer, supplier, and team issues with professionalism. * Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and company procedures. About You * Proven experience managing a branch in building materials, construction, or trade. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team. * Commercially minded, with a track record of delivering sales targets and identifying growth opportunities. * Confident in stock management, customer service, H&S compliance, and sales operations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal systems. * Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven. * Experience managing a medium to large-sized branch is essential.
