We are looking for an experienced, confident and professional Head Waiter/Waitress - Occasional Shift Supervisor to join our team at Kaze Lounge, a stylish Pan-Asian restaurant, bar and lounge in Greenwich.. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, excellent customer service skills and the confidence to lead a shift while maintaining high service standards..
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead and manage shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations..
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience..
- Supervise and support the front-of-house team during service..
- Take responsibility for occasional opening and closing procedures..
- Complete end-of-shift cash-ups and handle payments accurately..
- Manage bookings, table allocations and customer enquiries..
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism..
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently and professionally..
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service..
Requirements.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Head Waiter/Waitress or similar supervisory role..
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills..
- Confidence in managing a busy restaurant shift independently..
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail..
- Experience handling cash-ups and opening/closing procedures..
- Previous knowledge of Zonal POS would be an advantage but is not essential..
- Must be available to work weekends, including Fridays and Saturdays..
- Flexibility to work late evenings when required..
- A positive attitude, reliability and the ability to work well under pressure..
