About the role. . We are looking for a skilled and motivated barista to prepare high-quality coffee, maintain consistency, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced specialty coffee and bakery environment.. .
Key responsibilities. .
- Prepare espresso-based drinks to a high standard, including dialling in, consistency, and timing.
- Brew V60 and batch filter coffee according to established recipes.
- Maintain coffee quality throughout the day through grind adjustments and calibration.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
- Process POS transactions accurately using Square.
- Keep the bar and service areas clean, organised, and well presented.
- Support the front-of-house team during busy periods.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with stock control and report low inventory.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Taking orders and deliver the drinks to the table . .
Requirements. .
- Previous barista experience in a specialty coffee environment is preferred.
- Good understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Morning and Evening shifts . .
Desirable experience. .
- V60 or other manual brewing methods.
- Basic latte art.
- Coffee origins and flavour profiles.
- Square or similar POS systems

Employment: Full-time
Salary: £14 – £15 hourly
