Kumara Cinnamon Exporters Pvt Ltd, part of the Kumara Group, is starting a brand-new Digital Department, and we want you to lead it as our first Social Media Manager. This is a rare chance to own a role from day one, shape how our brands show up online, and grow your career as the department grows.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and produce eye‑catching content that reflects our brand's mission and values
  • Write engaging posts, captions and blog articles that tell our brand's story
  • Capture and edit short video clips and share them across our channels
  • Manage our presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and the web
  • Plan and maintain a steady content calendar so we always have something fresh to post
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns that boost engagement and reach a wider audience
  • Analyse data from social platforms to see what's working, and use those insights to improve future campaigns

What we're looking for:

  • Some education in social media marketing, digital marketing, marketing or a related field
  • Comfortable creating content and communicating clearly
  • A creative, self‑starting attitude and a real willingness to learn

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of content strategy, consumer personas and campaign analytics
  • Experience with Canva and basic video editing

Location: Elpitiya, Galle (full‑time, in‑house)

Basic salary: LKR 60,000+ per month
