We are looking to add to our small but mighty team here at Braier Group, to help grow and develop our multi award-winning marketing agency arm, KAYBE, into something even greater. This is the role for someone who knows that good design is not decoration. It is strategy in better shoes. It is brand, audience, message, UX, timing, clarity and commercial sense, all working together so the end result does what it is supposed to do. We want someone who can take a brief and run with it. Someone who can move from website design to whitepaper layout to ad creative to event booth artwork without losing the plot, the quality, or the brand.
4 quick-fire questions:
- Does a slightly vague brief quietly excite you rather than make you panic?
- Can you switch from designing a web page to laying out an e-book to sourcing the right image for an ad, and still care about the spacing on the final version?
- When someone says, “it needs to feel premium, on-brand and audience-right”, do you instinctively start figuring out what that actually means in practice?
- Can you follow brand guidelines to the pixel when needed, but also build an entire brand from scratch when there are no guidelines yet?
If you're nodding along, you're probably the person we're looking for!
Your Responsibilities
- Designing websites and web pages, including building and updating pages in Elementor.
- Creating whitepapers, e-books, brochures, presentations and other long-form content assets that are clear, polished and genuinely readable.
- Producing ads, infographics, flyers, business cards, event booth graphics and wider campaign collateral across digital and print.
- Taking client and internal briefs and turning them into strong concepts, thoughtful layouts and polished final outputs.
- Creating full brand identities, including logos, visual systems, brand assets and brand guideline documents.
- Following existing brand guidelines accurately and applying them consistently across every touchpoint.
- Using Adobe Creative Suite confidently and fluently across day-to-day design work.
- Working in Canva where needed to support client requirements and asset creation.
- Sourcing imagery with actual thought behind it, choosing visuals based on audience, message, tone and purpose, not just because they vaguely fit the space.
- Applying UX thinking to digital design, with a solid understanding of user journeys, user experience and how design helps people move from interest to action.
- Designing with different audiences in mind and adapting tone, structure and visual approach accordingly.
- Managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced agency environment without standards slipping.
- Working closely with the wider team to keep creative moving, delivered on time and done properly.
