Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead and enhance our operational efficiency across the UK and EU. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex logistics and operational processes, driving continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer experience. This role will be instrumental in supporting strategic initiatives, optimizing daily operations, and fostering collaboration across internal teams, third‑party logistics (3PL) partners, and B2B customers.

Leadership & People Management

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to support professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, ensuring alignment with business priorities and efficient execution of daily operations.

Inventory & Logistics Management

  • Plan, manage, and execute quarterly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and reconciliations to ensure system and physical stock alignment.
  • Oversee and participate in the annual stock take, ensuring compliance and precision.
  • Act as the main liaison with HQ logistics on inventory, shipments, and other logistics matters.
  • Streamline and optimise processes for goods receipt, storage, and dispatch, maintaining both quality and timeliness.
  • Monitor and evaluate warehouse KPIs to uphold service levels and quality standards.
  • Conduct monthly reviews with 3PL partners to assess performance, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Manage inventory synchronization between Distribution Centres (DCs) and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) systems.
  • Oversee stock destruction processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

Order & Customer Operations

  • Oversee and ensure smooth B2B order processing with DCs, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to all customers.
  • Supervise end‑to‑end influencer send‑outs, supporting the Customer Support team as needed.
  • Oversee special customer requests, over‑labelling, and quality control checks with DCs.
  • Coordinate new customer setups with DCs, ensuring all special instructions and delivery requirements are implemented.
  • Monitor and ensure inbound orders are closed as per SLA, reporting discrepancies to relevant teams promptly.
  • Track and manage service levels (SLAs) across all accounts; analyse root causes for underperformance and propose action plans with the Demand Planner.

Reporting & Financial Coordination

  • Provide weekly Sell‑In Reports to the Commercial team and VP of Supply Chain.
  • Support month‑end closing, including order phasing, communication, and reconciliation activities.
  • Deliver monthly forecasts to DCs for both inbound and outbound volumes.
  • Conduct monthly DC invoicing reviews, ensuring accurate cost allocation across departments and offices.
  • Reconcile invoices with the local Finance team monthly, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Prepare and present monthly inventory and performance analysis reports to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in operations or supply chain management within consumer goods, preferably beauty or cosmetics.
  • Strong ERP system expertise (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse management, 3PL processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence both internal and external partners to achieve operational goals.
