Summary
We are seeking a proactive Finance & Business Analyst to join our growing fragrance brand. This newly created role strengthens commercial insight and decision‑making within KAYALI. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will consolidate and analyse data across Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Finance, delivering clear, actionable insights to support performance and growth. The role is data‑focused, providing cross‑functional reporting and analytical support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Commercial & Operational Analysis
Prepare and analyse retail sales performance by retailer, franchise, and region versus budget and prior year. Compare forecasted product demand with actual customer purchases to provide actionable insights for inventory and sales optimisation. Produce comprehensive reports and dashboards by combining data from Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Finance. Collaborate with operational teams to identify supply‑demand imbalances and recommend actions to optimise sales and stock outcomes. Deliver monthly and ad hoc analysis to support management reviews and strategic decision‑making. Provide agile analytical support for one‑off business requests and initiatives. - Analytics & Reporting
Gather, interpret, and analyse data from multiple sources, including Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and Excel. Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs across sales, stock, and operational performance. Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for commercial and operational teams. Streamline and automate reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Maintain up‑to‑date pricing data and price lists, completing ERP pricing adjustments as needed. - Data Management & Systems
Pull, reconcile, validate, and maintain key commercial data to support planning and reporting accuracy. Build and enhance Power BI dashboards to improve visibility and decision support. Support leadership in creating one version of the truth across commercial datasets.
Requirements
2‑4 years' experience in retail, fragrance, beauty, or consumer goods. Strong data and analytical skills, comfortable managing and interpreting large datasets. Advanced Excel skills (modelling, automation, scenario analysis). Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP system. Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication skills, able to translate data into clear, commercial insight. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and responding quickly to business needs.
