Job Description

Kawneer is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager - South to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will oversee a regional team of Architectural Advisors, responsible for developing and converting major sales prospects and achieving budgeted sales revenue within corporate policies and professional standards. The role aims to optimize customer account revenue and contribute to business objectives.

Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, the manager will oversee the London office management and the Southern Region Architectural Advisers. The primary goal is to achieve the regional sales revenue plan by actively managing the project pipeline and key accounts, while managing customer discounts within agreed limits.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop sales revenue and margin budgets to meet targets and company objectives.
  • Motivate, coach, and support the regional sales team to perform according to plan.
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasts of order intake for effective resource planning.
  • Review order intake regularly and implement recovery plans for variances.
  • Manage discount levels to maintain sales margins.
  • Resolve invoice disputes to reduce aged debt and meet business goals.
  • Develop and manage relationships within the company\'s main contractor framework to increase project conversion and revenue.
  • Identify and cultivate new customer relationships and market opportunities for growth.
  • Review the project pipeline monthly to maximize conversion of specifications to confirmed sales.
  • Ensure effective communication channels for projects outside the region, aligning with national objectives.
  • Grow and develop new customer accounts, strengthen relationships with main contractors, and increase specifications and conversions.
  • Maintain team motivation and development.
  • Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts.
