As a Manufacturing Costing Analyst, you are responsible to monitor, analyze, and report cost variances, inventory valuation, and manufacturing efficiencies to support financial planning and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven solid experience in Manufacturing Costing for 3+ years in a factory or manufacturing environment.
  • Able to speak in English OR Mandarin.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in personnel management or part-time cashier duties is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Willing to be placed in Kendal.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and track product costs, labor, material, and overhead expenses.
  • Maintain and update cost accounting systems and records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports and margin analysis.
  • Monitor standard costs and update them as necessary based on product changes.
  • Analyze production cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate cost data.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing costs.
  • Perform inventory analysis and support annual physical inventory processes.
  • Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.
