Permanent, full-time position located at the Walsall area workshop. Monday to Friday, day shift, 45 hours per week. The role involves fabricating and maintaining a varied fleet of commercial vehicles for a fleet management client.

Responsibilities:

  • Chassis repairs
  • Vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Body building and body repairs
  • Riveting, bolting, cutting, shaping, bending
  • Fabricating predominantly from steel
  • Correction of running defects
  • Chassis and fabrication work
  • TIG and MIG welding
  • Hydraulic work
  • MOT preparation

Qualifications:

Ideally fully qualified City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in welding and/or fabrication. Experience within the automotive industry and time served are also considered.
