Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician living in the Maidstone area looking for a Field Service job? This is a regional role covering the Kent area, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, between 6am and 6pm. Salary - Up to £55,000, depending on experience.
The role of the Mobile HGV Technician includes travelling within a designated area with use of a fully equipped van. You will be working on a variety of vehicles, from tractor and trailer units to RCVs, sweepers and gritters.
We are looking for a self-motivated and independent HGV Fitter, Mechanic, Technician who can travel to our clients' various workshops in a designated area conducting:
- Preventative Maintenance
- Emergency Breakdowns
- Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
- Engine work and diagnostic investigations
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Requirements for this Mobile HGV Technician position:
- Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
- Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence but not essential.
