Job Duties:
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial vehicles
- Performing routine maintenance tasks
- Installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle components
- Testing vehicles to ensure proper functionality
- Following safety protocols and regulations
- Keeping accurate records of work performed
- MOT preparation
- Routine (and preventative) maintenance
- Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
- 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial vehicle fitter
- Time served will be considered
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
