If you’re a qualified, time‑served HGV Technician with a solid understanding of commercial vehicle mechanics, this is a place where you can grow, progress and be genuinely appreciated.

What you’ll be working on:

  • A varied and interesting fleet including: HGVs, refuse collection vehicles, sweepers, hook loaders, tippers, trailers, vans and more. No two days look the same.

Your day-to-day:

  • Routine and preventative maintenance
  • MOT prep and DVSA‑standard servicing
  • 6/8‑weekly inspections
  • Diagnosing and correcting running defects
  • Chassis repairs and fabrication
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics work
  • Electrical fault finding and wiring repairs
  • Improving overall vehicle standards and reliability

What we’re looking for:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV/Commercial Vehicle Engineering
  • IRTEC accreditation or HGV Class 1 licence is a bonus (training available)
  • A proactive attitude and pride in delivering first‑class service
  • Willingness to learn, upskill and adapt to new technologies
  • A great attitude can be trained into expertise
