Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm.
The role of the Auto Electrician:
Accurately and quickly diagnose faults using diagnostic laptops, multi meters and other test equipment, following circuit diagrams to undertake repairs, preferably a first time fix to manufacture and DVSA agreed standards.
To be able to interpret and remedy vehicle defect descriptions communicated by vehicle users and customers
Experience in using a full range of electronic diagnostic equipment.
Complete required work within agreed time parameters
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and automotive circuitry
Qualifications for this Auto Electrician role:
Levels 1, 2 and 3 City and Guilds Auto Electrician or equivalent qualification.
Certified to work on 110/240 volt electrical systems or be prepared to undertake training to gain 110/240 volt electrical certification
Experience of working on, diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy goods and/or specialist vehicles.
