Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Greater Manchester area looking for a workshop based role? Are you looking for a Monday to Friday, day shift role, 8am β 5:30pm?
Hours: 45 per week. Salary up to Β£44,000 p/a, pension, sick pay, holidays etc, free, secure on-site parking.
The role of the HGV Technician:
- You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, including gritters, RCV's Refuge vehicles, Diesel and EV vehicles.
The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):
- Routine (and preventative) maintenance
- MOT preparation
- Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
- 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Requirements for this HGV Technician position:
- Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
- Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Day shift: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm
45 hours per week, plus overtime
Salary up to Β£44,000 p/a
Permanent, full time position
