I'm currently working with and on behalf of my client to secure an experienced Parts Coordinator for their operation in the Walsall region. The company is part of a global brand which is at the forefront of the manufacture and maintenance of a wide range of specialist and bespoke commercial vehicles. They have been in operation for over 100 years and strive to deliver exceptional customer service to all their customers, both externally and internally.

The role:

  • Day shift Monday to Friday
  • We are looking for an experienced Parts Coordinator who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of working within a busy parts environment, supplying Technicians with the Parts they need, as well as walk-in customers requiring parts for their vehicles.
  • You can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment where your efforts will be rewarded.
  • A skills shortage can be trained by way of upskilling. What cannot be trained is the right attitude and the desire to give your clients a first-class service.

The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):

  • Identification of parts on the computer system for a busy workshop
  • Answering calls to retail customers to identify parts
  • General warehouse roles, bin checks and putting stock away
  • Supporting other Parts professionals in the department.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a Parts environment.
  • Have an understanding of workshop practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Commercial Vehicle experience.
