Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician living in the Stockport area looking for a workshop based role? Are you looking for a 4 on / 4 off Night shift role? 7pm - 7am up to £52,000 p/a plus overtime. Permanent - Full time position.

Would you work for a company that services, maintains and repairs their own fleet? The role of the HGV Technician: You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, of differing ages and possibly the odd tanker. You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.

The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):

  • Routine (and preventative) maintenance
  • MOT preparation
  • Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
  • 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
  • Improvement of vehicle standards
  • Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Requirements for this HGV Technician position: Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
