What you'll be working on \n A varied and interesting fleet including: HGVs, refuse collection vehicles, sweepers, hook loaders, tippers, trailers, vans and more. Your day-to-day \n \n \n Routine and preventative maintenance \n \n MOT prep and DVSA-standard servicing \n \n 6/8-weekly inspections \n \n Diagnosing and correcting running defects \n \n Chassis repairs and fabrication \n \n Hydraulics and pneumatics work \n \n Electrical fault finding and wiring repairs \n \n Improving overall vehicle standards and reliability \n What we're looking for \n \n \n City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV/Commercial Vehicle Engineering \n \n IRTEC accreditation or HGV Class 1 licence is a bonus (training available) \n \n A proactive attitude and pride in delivering first-class service \n \n Willingness to learn, upskill and adapt to new technologies \n A great attitude can be trained into expertise \n If you're missing a skill or two, this employer will invest in you.
