Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites? If so, then this could be the role for you. We are looking for a self-motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients' various workshops in a designated area providing:
- Callouts
- Preventative Maintenance
- Emergency Breakdowns
- Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
- MOT Preparation
- Engine work and diagnostic investigations
- Correction of running defects
- Chassis and fabrication work
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Improvement of vehicle standards
- Electrical and wiring inspections
Your day starts when you start your vehicle! Day shifts – no lates. In this role, no 2 days will ever be the same and the products that you work on will be diverse: HGVs, Ground Support GSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and rescue, Tractors and Tugs plus other bespoke operating platforms.
