Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Greater Manchester area looking for a workshop based role? Are you looking for a Monday to Friday, day shift role, 8am - 5:30pm?
Hours: 45 per week. Salary up to £44,000p/a, pension, sick pay, holidays etc, free, secure on-site parking.
The role of the HGV Technician:
- You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, including gritters, RCVs, refuge vehicles, diesel and EV vehicles.
- The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):
- Routine (and preventative) maintenance
- MOT preparation
- Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
- 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Requirements for this HGV Technician position:
- Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
- Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
Day shift: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm, 45 hours per week, plus overtime.
