Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Bolton area looking for a Field Service mobile role? This is a Monday to Friday role with day shifts and a salary of £40,000- £45,000.

The role of the Field Service Engineer includes:

  • Travelling within a designated area with use of a fully equipped van.
  • Working on a variety of specialised vehicles including cargo and ground support equipment, industrial type tractors, and tugs/shunters.
  • Potential work at airports, sea ports, main dealers, manufacturing sites, or military installations.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns, pre-arranged servicing at rural sites, engine work and diagnostic investigations, hydraulics and pneumatics, and electrical and wiring inspections and corrections.

Requirements for this Field Service Engineer position:

  • Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
  • Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable.
  • An HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence is not essential but would be beneficial.

Field Service Engineer Location: Bolton and surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time position with 48 hours per week.
