We are looking for a qualified and time-served HGV Technician who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics. You will be carrying out inspections on a varied and diverse fleet, which may include:
- Main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGVs)
- Refuse collection vehicles
- Road sweepers
- Hook loaders
- Light commercials (vans)
- Trailers
- Tippers
Responsibilities include:
- Routine (and preventative) maintenance
- MOT preparation
- Chassis and fabrication work
- Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
Additional accreditations such as IRTEC would be desirable, as would a HGV Class 1 licence.
