The Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be central in designing, building and maintaining data assets to measure marketing effectiveness with our Growth teams. We want this person to own our Attribution, CAC and LTV models to support, drive and optimise our customer growth initiatives.
We seek enthusiastic and versatile builders who embody our brand principles and inclusive culture as we scale Katkin.
We have a modern cloud-based analytics stack consisting of Fivetran, Google BigQuery, dbt Cloud, Hex and Looker. Looking ahead we are exploring the opportunity to bring in a reverse ETL tool to increase the level of integration and personalisation we can deliver to the business.

Key ownership areas

Partnering with the Growth team to own and drive the measurement and continual analysis of marketing effectiveness across all channels, offers and campaigns. This role will provide strategic and technical end-to-end support to drive and optimise customer growth initiatives.

The maintenance and development of existing Attribution, CPA, CAC and LTV models held in dbt.

The technical roadmap for enhancing and improving our marketing effectiveness through new developments and tooling.

Shared ownership of our dbt project, deployment optimisations, testing frameworks and modelling architecture.

Shared ownership of our data pipelines and debugging responsibilities.

Shared ownership of our LookML development and deployment strategy.
Who we are looking for:

You have at least 3 years of experience working with omnichannel Attribution, CPA, CAC and LTV practices.

You have at least 3 years of experience optimising the marketing effectiveness of growth offers and campaigns for a marketing or growth team.

Relatable experience at direct-to-consumer subscription or digital-first businesses where you have optimised marketing investment across brand, customer and performance channels.

You have at least 4 years of experience designing and building data assets with SQL and dbt.

A clear and effective communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences.

An agile thinking, problem solver, who thrives when working collaboratively within a team.
Nice to haves

You have experience building and working on Marketing Mix Models (MMM).

You are proficient in at least one programming language (Python, R, etc).

You are proficient with Git for version control and CI/CD practices.
