This role requires strong Financial Services Compliance knowledge gained in the Consumer Credit sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the existing compliance function, supporting both day-to-day activity and the development and implementation of robust frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance monitoring designing, establishing, and implementing a monitoring framework proportionate to the business.
- Support on AML/Financial crime related tasks e.g. firm wide risk assessment, establishing controls, PEP processes, SAR investigations etc.
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify, track and assess regulatory developments affecting the firm and provide further support on relevant gap analysis.
- Draft, review and/or establish compliance and financial crime policies, procedures and frameworks in line with FCA requirements.
- Provide clear, practical compliance advice to stakeholders across the business.
- Review all forms of customer comms/website/financial promotions and collaborate with marketing team to ensure consumer duty customer understanding alignment.
- Support on all required governance MI and data to ensure appropriateness and timely presentation for papers.
