We are looking for a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR & Talent team. In this highly people-facing role, you will often be the first point of contact for candidates and employees, so how you communicate and support people really makes a difference. This role suits a people-person who is naturally organised and detail orientated, enjoys being busy, and takes real pride in keeping things running with efficiency, accuracy and professionalism.
You will play a key role in a fast-paced HR team, splitting your time between supporting recruitment and keeping the day-to-day HR function running smoothly. You will work closely with the Recruitment Manager and managers across head office, warehouse and retail, while also being right at the centre of HR activity, managing inboxes, systems and trackers supporting the HR department by ensuring efficient communication and process compliance. This role offers great exposure to a wide range of HR activity, including employee queries and HR cases, making it an exciting opportunity to build your experience and grow with a business that is continuing to expand.
This position will be based between our stunning Banbury Head Office and friendly Warehouse, so a full UK driving licence will be required. There may be the occasional opportunity to work from home.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
- Playing a hands-on role in recruitment, helping create a warm, well-organised and memorable experience for every candidate.
- Bringing roles to life through clear, engaging job adverts and keeping interviews running smoothly from start to finish, including being part of the interview process.
- Being the go-to person for keeping HR and recruitment systems and trackers in great shape, ensuring information is always accurate and reliable.
- Staying on top of deadlines, volumes and open actions, and speaking up early when something needs attention.
- Acting as the friendly first point of contact for our HR inbox, supporting employees in a professional, approachable way.
- Owning HR queries from start to finish, making sure the right people are involved and nothing gets lost along the way.
- Supporting with a variety of HR cases, tasks and projects.
- Pulling together meaningful reports that help the team spot patterns, improve communication and shape future training.
- Getting involved in employee engagement activity across our head office and retail teams.
- Spending time out in our retail stores to support interviews, connect with teams and bring our people experience to life.
THE TALENT YOU'LL BRING
- Naturally organised and comfortable managing a varied workload.
- High attention to detail, with pride in accuracy and consistency, takes ownership and enjoys seeing tasks through properly.
- Approachable attitude, professional and confident communicating with people at all levels.
- Experience in a coordination, recruitment, HR or similar people-focused, coordination role.
- Strong system capability, knowledge of Bob and Monday.com would be desirable.
- A collaborative working style, enjoys working as part of a team and supporting others with confidence building strong relationships across teams and communicating clearly.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with curiosity and willingness to refine processes and adapt to changing needs.
