A wonderful Mergers and Acquisitions organisation who have an international presence are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated and driven Commercial Business Development executive to help them with their growth plans into the Irish market. Supporting the UK team, you will be the sole individual responsible for targeting and acquiring Irish companies. The successful candidate will come from a Senior level Business Development background, ideally from within M&A/Deal Origination backgrounds or wider commercial Business Development. You will be accustomed to speaking to C-Suite level individuals and owners of the business and not be afraid to pick up the phone! The successful candidate will be responsible for reaching out to prospects via phone, email and social media, having high level conversations with C-Suite individuals to help convert leads. Further to this you will be responsible for conducting market research, preparing presentations and M&A reports working closely with the M&A team. You will meet clients face to face and have high level conversations. The successful candidate will ideally be degree educated (not essential) alongside have solid commercial Business Development Executive experience. You will be a strong communicator, creative thinker and have a can do approach to work! This role is mainly remote with the ability to conduct face to face meetings in Ediburgh with clients and be happy to travel to Birmingham once a month to meet the UK team (travel paid for).
