Kati Bard are recruiting an experienced People Operations Team Leader to join a well-established Shared Services function within a large, complex organisation. This role sits within a policy-led, process-driven environment and is responsible for the consistent delivery of people operations activity across the business on a national basis. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership to a team of approximately five and ensure that all activity is delivered in line with agreed policies, service standards and governance requirements.
Role Overview
The People Operations Team Leader is accountable for:
- The effective management of people operations processes delivered at scale
- Ensuring adherence to corporate policies, procedures and controls
- Maintaining high standards of data accuracy, audit readiness and service delivery
- Managing workload planning, prioritisation and service levels across the team
- Acting as an escalation point for complex operational queries
This is a delivery-focused role requiring sound judgement, strong attention to detail and the ability to operate confidently within a structured corporate framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Line management and performance oversight of a Shared Services team
- Ensuring national people processes are applied consistently and compliantly
- Monitoring service metrics, workflows and turnaround times
- Producing operational reports for senior stakeholders
- Supporting peak activity periods and cyclical workload
- Identifying incremental process improvements within established policy frameworks
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to manage expectations and service delivery
Applicants MUST have:
- Proven experience in a Shared Services, People Operations or Business Services environment
- Experience leading teams within corporate, regulated or professional services organisations
- Strong understanding of process governance and policy adherence
