National Head of Facilities — Multi-Site Growth, West Midlands (Professional Services) Our client, a West Midlands headquartered professional services firm, is scaling from a single site to multiple locations nationally over the next two years, and needs someone to build the facilities function that makes that growth work.

This is not a role managing an estate that already exists.

It is a mandate to take an existing team of three, restructure and hire into it, and design the infrastructure, supplier relationships and standards that will support a firm roughly twelve times its current physical footprint within two years.

The role carries full ownership of facilities strategy, health and safety compliance, and business continuity across all locations.

It also covers supplier and contract management, budget and capital project delivery, and building the standards and processes needed as each new site comes online.

You will act as the senior point of contact for facilities matters firm wide, working closely with the board and senior leadership as the estate expands.

National travel is a core and regular part of this role, taking in Scotland, Manchester and the wider Midlands as new sites are established.

The estate is evolving fast and a significant part of the job is building the team and systems from a genuine single site starting point.

This role requires: Proven experience at Head of Facilities level, gained within a multi-site professional services environment.

The role will entail managing office acquisitions.

Direct experience of building or significantly growing a facilities function, not simply operating one that already exists at scale, including new site openings, fit-outs and the systems and supplier relationships that support expansion.

Demonstrable ownership of budgets, contracts and procurement at a level consistent with national responsibility.

Confident, credible stakeholder management with senior leadership is essential, as is sound judgement and discretion.
