A modern and global organisation working within the tech industry are looking for a driven Deal Origination Executive to join their team, offering between £45-50k a year with excellent bonus opportunities and a bonus of up to £10k a year. This is a full-time, permanent position with an amazing hybrid pattern and the base being in Birmingham City Centre.

For this role, the candidate needs to be proactive and analytic, as this role represents the front end of the mergers and acquisition process. By developing the business, the individual needs to be a self-starter who can work independently to achieve objectives and has the ability to establish client relationships.

This role would involve:

  • Aiding the growth of the database in the UK by identifying companies that meet the acquisition process.
  • Prospecting potential business through outbound calls, emails, and social media communication to identify target clients.
  • Using marketing and CRM data to build relationships.
  • Attending trade shows and industry events.
  • Cold calling and face-to-face meetings with other senior individuals.
  • Conducting first line interactions with companies.
  • Co-ordinating the successful conversion from leads into actionable opportunities.

This is a client-facing role and it is essential to have experience within the financial services and/or experience in the mergers and acquisitions process. It is essential to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting. Efficiency in Microsoft and other related IT programmes is an asset.
