Job Description

We are looking for a driven and hard-working individual for a fantastic opportunity within an reputable business to join their inhouse legal team to provide Compliance and Data Protection Administration support on a full time basis (hybrid). This company, located just outside of Birmingham (driving is recommended due to the location) boasts a fantastic reputation and can provide the opportunity for an individual to expand on their working compliance and GDPR knowledge within a fast paced environment. This role is not a fee earning or legal practice focused role and would not be suited to someone keen to progress within law.

The responsibilities of the role will include successful liaison with internal and external clients, management of caseload databases, and utilisation of an existing legal knowledge.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Managing subject access requests to ensure timely completion
  • Reviewing and redacting documentation
  • Management of research projects in line with the businesses legal needs
  • Liaising with clients and building relationships
  • Drafting of legal documents
  • Managing a case load from start to finish
  • All other tasks relevant to the support of the Legal Counsel

Due to the location of this business, the successful applicant will ideally have access to their own form of transportation and be immediately available. Prior Corporate administration experience is essential alongside an interest of Data Protection or Compliance within a regulatory environment. You will have a strong attention to detail, analytical approach to work and be methodical.
