This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced HR Operations or People Services leader to take ownership of a high-profile function that is undergoing significant transformation. You will inherit an established People Services team and play a key role in modernising processes, improving employee experience and driving operational excellence across a complex, fast-paced business.
As Senior People Services Manager you will lead a successful People Services function responsible for delivering exceptional employee experience across the entire employment lifecycle. The role will manage three Team Leads who each has their own team. Working closely with senior HR leaders and key business stakeholders, you will influence strategy, improve service delivery, champion technology and create a culture focused on continuous improvement. You will be joining the business at an exciting time as it invests heavily in transforming the People function through new technology, improved processes and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop an established People Services team.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations whilst continually improving service delivery.
- Drive transformation projects that improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Review, redesign and simplify HR processes.
- Build strong relationships across HR, Payroll, Recruitment and wider business teams.
- Create meaningful service metrics and use data to improve performance.
- Champion a 'right first time' culture.
- Lead operational governance, policies and process documentation.
- Oversee onboarding, pre-employment screening and employee lifecycle processes.
- Support major HR systems and technology initiatives including ServiceNow.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Applicants must have experience managing team leaders, including team leaders within an HR Shared Services environment ideally within professional services.
