We are seeking an experienced People Team Leader to manage and develop a team of 24 People HR Administrators, working closely with the Talent team and other People Services leaders. This is working within an international law firm based in Birmingham City Centre and they are searching for someone who can effectively lead a team. This is working in the activity hub team and is a great chance to make this team your own.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading, coaching and developing a team of 24 People HR Administrators
- Collaborating effectively with fellow Team Leaders across the business
- Delegating workloads and supporting the team with prioritisation during peak periods
- Producing weekly operational reports for the business and People Management Team
- Ensuring timely and seamless onboarding for new employees
- Maintaining accuracy when adding early careers populations to internal systems
- Conducting data quality checks and offering real-time, constructive feedback
- Coaching and upskilling team members to deliver a customer-centric HR service
- Managing and investigating issues and resolving queries as needed
- Responding to stakeholder requests promptly and professionally
It is ESSENTIAL to have previous experience in a team leader or manager position in a professional service or corporate environment. It would be ideal to have previous HR systems, policies and processes experience but this part is not essential.
