This is a newly created position born out of growth, ambition and the recognition that the right person beside a great leader changes everything.
About the Business
This is not a corporate. It is an entrepreneurial group with over 36 companies, a deep-rooted passion for music, specifically within the Bollywood and Bhangra space and a culture that is as genuine and close-knit as it gets. The team is small, tight and growing fast. Everyone pulls in the same direction and nobody stands on ceremony.
The Role
You will be the Founder's most trusted operational resource. His right hand. His internal and external interface with the world. That means owning his diary completely. Coordinating extensive travel across the UK and internationally. Managing his correspondence and stakeholder relationships with authority and discretion. Keeping projects on track across multiple business streams. Building the processes and procedures the business needs as it scales. Handling expenses, administration, light HR and whatever else the day demands. This is a full 360 role professional and personal and it will look different every single day. If you need clear boundaries and a structured routine, this is not the role for you. If you thrive in complexity, pivot without fuss and take genuine ownership of everything you touch, read on.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have solid PA or EA experience, ideally gained within an entrepreneurial, founder-family led environment. Exposure to entertainment would be ideal! You will be resourceful, resilient and calm under pressure. A natural communicator who is equally comfortable managing a recording artist's schedule and sitting in a property meeting. Someone who gets things done without being asked twice. An understanding of or genuine affinity with Bollywood and Bhangra culture would be a real advantage not essential, but it will matter. Above all, you will have no ego, no preciousness and a genuine desire to be part of something that is going places. Applicants must be Birmingham based/currently residing in Birmingham.
