An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events & Marketing Assistant to join a growing technology business based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys coordinating events, managing multiple projects and working within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
This role will heavily focus on events coordination and delivery, supporting a busy and collaborative team with the planning and execution of a wide range of corporate events, client engagement activities and internal initiatives. The organisation offers a modern and supportive culture alongside the opportunity to gain exposure within a dynamic and evolving tech sector.
Working closely with the wider team, you will support the end-to-end coordination of events while also assisting with related marketing and communications activity:
- Coordinating corporate events, networking events, conferences and client functions
- Managing event logistics including venues, suppliers, catering, travel and attendee management
- Sending invitations, tracking responses and managing event communications
- Supporting on-site event delivery and ensuring a seamless attendee experience
- Assisting with post-event reporting, feedback and follow-up activity
- Supporting social media and marketing communications linked to events
- Preparing presentations, event materials and branded documentation
- Providing wider administrative support to the marketing and events team
Previous experience within events and marketing is required, along with strong IT skills including Microsoft Office. Experience supporting corporate or client-facing events would be highly advantageous.
