We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Advisor. This role plays a vital part in ensuring employees and pensioners are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting both payroll and pensions processes and delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate, verify, and maintain employee and pension data across relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and timely payroll processing.
- Process payroll and pensions activities in line with service standards, legislation, and company policies.
- Handle and resolve payroll and pensions queries from employees, pensioners, and third parties, escalating where appropriate.
- Administer and monitor payroll and pensions documentation to ensure processes are completed within agreed timelines.
- Support compliance by adhering to HMRC and statutory requirements, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll and pensions processes, particularly in response to legislative or policy changes.
- Assist in implementing system or process updates to maintain efficiency and compliance.
Skills Experience:
- Previous experience in a payroll or payroll pensions role.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
