We're recruiting a Front of House Facilities Assistant on behalf of a well-established professional services firm in Birmingham. A varied, people-facing role where you'll be the first impression of the business — keeping the office running smoothly from reception through to facilities support.
What you'll be doing:
- Meeting and greeting clients, visitors and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
- Managing calls via Microsoft Teams and maintaining the meeting room diary
- Setting up, clearing and resetting meeting rooms for meetings, lunches and events
- Handling incoming and outgoing post, couriers and deliveries
- Monitoring and ordering stationery, managing office supplies and maintaining a tidy environment
- Supporting with H S inductions, new starter setups and workstation assessments
- Filing, archiving and invoicing alongside general ad hoc support to the Office Manager
What we're looking for:
- A polite, friendly and professional manner — comfortable communicating at all levels
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills and a proactive attitude
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Switchboard or reception experience is an advantage
- A flexible, can-do approach — happy to get involved wherever needed
