Job Description
Calling for a Facilities Assistant!
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join a global financial services firm on a full-time basis in their Birmingham office!
Key tasks:
- Upon arrival politely meet and greet all clients/ visitors and staff in a professional manner
- Regularly update and maintain the meeting room diary
- Responsible for recording and handling all incoming and outgoing couriers
- Adhere to the Firm’s policies, their procedures and Information Security standards
- Monitor the meeting rooms, ensuring they are kept at a high standard, i.e. preparing and clearing rooms for lunches held, meetings and events
- Responsible for invoicing
- Ensure that the tidiness of the general office environment is kept at a high standard
- Adhere to the Firm’s
- Responsible for ensuring that filing cabinets are tidy and kept up to date
- Ensure that external post is sent out appropriately
- Correct distribution of external and internal mail
- Carry out the Health & Safety inductions and new starter set ups
You will need the below skillset:
- A positive and friendly manner
- Facilities-based role preferred
- High standards of punctuality and efficiency
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
- Professional mannerisms and approach to all work activities
- Communication skills at all levels
For this role you will need to have had previous experience in a reception environment, assisting with general facility duties and front of house tasks regarding the daily duties in the Birmingham office.
