Overview

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected financial planning firm based near Birmingham City Centre. We are looking for the right person who is wanting to progress and succeed within this role, someone who is willing to get involved and support with several upcoming exciting projects going ahead.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll provide technical support to Financial Planners, helping to produce high-quality suitability reports, conduct research and deliver an exceptional client experience.

This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to get involved in exciting projects, making it ideal for a proactive and ambitious individual who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships, and contributing to the continued success of the business.

The role

  • Create and draft reports supporting senior internal team members.
  • Support Advisers and their clients throughout every stage of the financial planning process.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with clients, supporting them appropriately.
  • Review client information and prepare cashflow models, illustrations, and financial planning documents.
  • Contribute to improving processes, systems, and the overall efficiency of the advice team.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Previous experience in a Paraplanner or IFA role.
  • A Financial Planning Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
