Data Protection and Privacy Assistant

Our client is looking for a Data Protection and Privacy Assistant to join their growing Information Security team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in cyber security, privacy and compliance within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

This is on a full time, permanent basis, hybrid (2 days in office) and a salary of £28-31k.

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you'll support a range of Information Security, Data Protection, Supplier Assurance, Governance and Compliance activities, helping to ensure processes, documentation and reporting are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Information Security governance and administration.
  • Assist with Data Protection and Supplier Assurance activities.
  • Maintain compliance records, reports and documentation.
  • Support audits, risk assessments and governance processes.
  • Produce management information and track actions.

About You

You need previous experience in compliance tasks, auditing tasks, administration, enjoys handling processes and is detail driven.
