A highly respected Professional Services firm with a standout reputation is on the lookout for a driven and detail-oriented Data Protection Executive to join its specialist Information Governance and Data Protection team, right in the heart of Birmingham city centre. Working closely with the Head of Data Protection, you’ll play a pivotal role across both client-facing projects and internal governance initiatives. This is a position for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys tackling complex information, and is confident navigating technical detail.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Take full ownership of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), from initial assessment through to final delivery, managing large volumes of data with accuracy and carrying out meticulous redactions.
  • Review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), spotting key risks and delivering clear, structured, and commercially minded feedback to clients.
  • Analyse Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and potential exposures, and confidently escalating where needed.
  • Support a broad mix of information governance and compliance work, from advisory support to enhancing internal processes.
