An established, highly successful global Finance firm is looking for an Events Coordinator to join their global events team, reporting into an experienced Events Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an Executive Assistant looking to transition into a dedicated Events career. The position is office-based 5 days (hybrid option longer term, 1 day WFH).
The Role:
- Coordinating corporate events for internal and external clients; lunches, breakfasts, and dinners
- Sourcing and managing vendors including restaurants, hotels, meeting rooms, and catering
- Collaborating with cross-departmental teams on special events, pop-ups, and event marketing
- Working with the Corporate Communications team on internal/external event marketing
- Coordinating production of printed materials
- Acting as onsite contact for London-based events and programs
- Managing calendar scheduling of events and programs
- Overseeing post-event actions, including budget reconciliation and feedback documentation
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3 years' experience in events or as a PA/Executive Assistant within finance or professional services, with strong corporate events experience
- Excellent attention to detail, task-oriented, and highly organised with superb communication and coordination skills
- High proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Adobe PDF, and Cvent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, positive attitude, and a team player
- Professional and polished presence
This role offers:
- Salary £50,000 – £60,000
- Office-based, with a hybrid option (1 day WFH) longer term
