Event Administrator

South Northamptonshire | Full-time, 37.5 hours | Β£14-Β£15 p/h

Do you love a busy diary, a full inbox and the buzz of a big event day? Then this might just be your dream job.

We're working with a world-class events venue in South Northamptonshire that hosts more than 40 major public events every year. They're looking for an organised, upbeat Event Administrator to join their Public Events team and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing

You'll be the right hand to the Head of Public Events. That means managing their diary, arranging meetings and travel, taking minutes and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

You'll also be at the heart of the wider team. You'll run the events inbox, keep the holiday calendar in check, pull together the weekly team update and handle purchase orders, invoices and expenses.

When event season kicks in, you'll be right in the thick of it. You'll sort meal vouchers, fuel cards and minibuses, prepare event briefings and make sure every operational plan is signed off, printed and ready for event control. No two weeks are the same, and it's never boring.

What you'll bring

  • At least a year's experience in an office role, ideally with some diary management
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle lots of projects at once
  • A can-do attitude and a happy-to-jump-in-at-the-deep-end mindset
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, mainly between March and December

Why you'll love it

You'll join a passionate, close-knit team that genuinely gives its all, at a venue that's famous across the country. If you want a role where you can see the results of your hard work, live and in front of thousands of fans, this is it.
