Talent and Development Manager
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: £50-54k
Type: Full-time, permanent, hybrid (2 days in office) + benefits
We are delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of an experienced Talent & Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the organisation’s Talent, Learning & Development strategy.
- Lead performance and development frameworks, including 1-to-1s, reviews and development plans.
- Design and deliver engaging blended learning, leadership and professional development programmes.
- Develop competency frameworks, skills matrices and career pathways.
- Identify current and future skills gaps to support workforce planning and succession.
- Manage apprenticeships, qualifications, mentoring and coaching initiatives.
- Oversee the Learning Management System and mandatory/compliance training.
- Manage external learning providers and key stakeholder relationships.
- Measure L&D effectiveness through KPIs, feedback and business outcomes.
- Coach and advise managers on talent development and organisational capability.
About You
The successful candidate will have significant Talent/L&D experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record in:
- Learning and development strategy and programme design.
- Performance and competency frameworks.
- Blended learning and adult learning methodologies.
- Talent management, career development and succession planning.
- LMS and learning technology management.
- Coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
