Our client is a boutique recruitment firm specialising in the health and social care sector, with a specific focus on complex care and case management. Due to sustained client demand, they are appointing a permanent Recruitment Consultant. This position is a strategic hire designed to support long-term business growth. The company operates on an output-based model rather than traditional recruitment metrics.

No micro-management: Progress is measured by the quality of candidate placements and client satisfaction, not by call volumes or hours logged.

Direct mentorship: The successful candidate will work alongside the founding team, providing direct exposure to business operations and strategic development.

Consultative approach: The business positions itself as a strategic partner to its clients, prioritising thorough candidate qualification over high-volume sales tactics.

Job role

  • Desk management: 360-degree recruitment on a permanent desk focused on complex care and case management roles.
  • Candidate sourcing: Methodically identify, headhunt, and qualify candidates, managing them through the full interview and placement lifecycle.
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain an active pipeline of specialist healthcare professionals through detailed qualification calls.
  • Account growth: Progress over time into business development and account management.
  • Team support: Assist with wider team delivery and collaborative projects during peak workload periods.

This position is open to candidates meeting any of the following criteria:

  • Clinical specialists: Individuals with operational or clinical experience within complex care or case management organisations looking to transition into recruitment eg. physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses or HCAs.
  • Experienced recruiters: Established 360 perm recruiters with at least 1-2 years with proven sourcing capabilities and experience managing the full placement cycle.
  • Technical literacy: Proficiency in utilising modern recruitment software, databases, and AI-driven sourcing tools.
  • Logistics: Ability to commute to the Central London office 3 days a week.

Salary and benefits

  • Base salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • On-target earnings: Up to £47,000 expected in the first year.
  • Commission structure: Uncapped, performance-linked commission that increases relative to billing milestones.
  • Annual bonus: An additional financial bonus awarded for exceptional performance.
