My client is seeking to appoint a full time Assistant Finance Business Partner for their thriving and busy transport/logistics business. You will be a part-qualified accountant of a recognised body with strong communication skills. You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and have the ability to build financial files from scratch, guided by the FBP.
As a part qualified accountant, it is essential that you have great attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, seeking support where necessary. You will support the FBP in completion of month end accounts for the Warehouses, including all journal postings. You will support the completion of warehouse quarterly forecast and the annual budget setting process.
This is a varied role where you will be completing weekly revenue reporting; data gathering to fully understand the drivers of performance; gathering data to track key warehouse initiatives; continued development of processes and systems to ensure the most efficient and effective ways of working.
You will assist the FBP in completion of the Transport month end P&L, posting accruals and prepayment; completing the new weekly Transport KPI report.
