My client, a leading global organisation based in Oxford, is looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join its established legal team. This is an opportunity for an experienced real estate lawyer to step into a role offering genuine autonomy, exposure to significant transactions and the opportunity to shape the organisation's wider real estate strategy. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Head of Legal for Real Estate, you will take ownership of a varied and high-value workload, working on some of the organisation's most interesting and significant real estate transactions. You'll have the freedom to run your own matters and make a meaningful contribution with support when needed. Alongside the transactional work, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, develop key external relationships and help shape the organisation's approach to real estate. What You'll Be Doing Lead significant transactions: Lead on some of the organisation's most valuable and interesting real estate matters. Drive complex negotiations: Draft and negotiate key real estate documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, agreements for lease, licences, variations, easements and development agreements. Build strategic relationships: Develop networks and manage relationships with external lawyers, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality legal support. Influence real estate strategy: Contribute to strategic decisions and help shape policies relating to the organisation's real estate portfolio. Operate with autonomy: Manage your own caseload, exercising sound commercial judgement while benefiting from direct access to the Head of Legal for Real Estate. Support and mentor others: Share your experience and contribute to the development of colleagues within the legal team. What We're Looking For You'll be an experienced Commercial Real Estate Lawyer with 5+ years' PQE , either practising at a leading City or regional law firm with a strong commercial real estate practice, or already be working in-house and looking for your next challenge.
