Job Description

My client, a Global Pharmaceutical Company based in London is now looking to hire an IP Litigator to join their legal team in London.

In this newly created role, with fantastic growth prospects, reporting into the European GC, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising key stakeholders in the business on Patent Litigation
  • Providing advice to the business on trade mark and non-contentious IP matters
  • Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts including distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements, supply agreements and service agreements
  • Negotiating and drafting IP related agreements including R&D agreements, collaboration agreements and licence agreements
  • Giving ad hoc advice to the business on wider legal matters including HR and compliance

The ideal candidate will likely have 8+pqe as an IP Litigator with Patent Litigation experience as well as experience of advising pharmaceutical companies. You will likely either be an IP Litigator working at a leading law firm looking to make your first move in-house or you will already have moved in-house working for a pharmaceutical company and looking for the next move in your career.

This is a unique opportunity for an IP Litigator to join a fast growing pharmaceutical company in a European role with the opportunity to also diversify your experience by advising on wider legal matters. Whilst prior experience of advising on commercial contracts is useful it is not essential as long as you have an appetite to take on a broad in-house role.
